II Fatal Offences

Project Information

In this series of seminars students will learn how to identify and classify a fatal offense.

Students will learn to identify different requirements for murder. Students will learn to identify the actus reus and mens rea of the crime. Students will also learn what is required to mount the defense of manslaughter. Students will be able to differentiate between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter as well as understand what elements are required for each to operate as a range of defenses.
